Unhappy Melanoma Cancer

I had a large mole removed and when it was found to be Melanoma Cancer, the Dr. at Roswell Cancer Hospital had some skin removed on my thigh and one goin lymp node removed. I got the call a week ago that there was more cancer found so another surgery is going to happen on the 14th of November. This time they aretaking all the lymp nodes and moving the muscle over in the left leg to protect the artery there. I'm told 4 days in the hospital and 4 weeks recovery time. I was a 1b at the first operation and now I'm a 3b. geez, and i was planning on trying to move back to Seattle, Wash. with my family to be near my daughter in May 2012. I am from Seattle orginally but moved to Ny to be near my husband's family. I am VERY nervous now, wondering if they will get the Cancer this time. Sorta feeling like the guy on Nightmare before Christmas, all stitched up. Sure could use some prayers right about now, and wondering if there is anyone else out there with 3b Melanoma Cancer. My husband and sons does not seem to feel the fear I'm feeling. Take care, janet

Re: Melanoma Cancer

Hi Janet: You sound like you have wonderful doctors...I have not gone that road in life, however, I have dealt with Melanoma...Even though our son has been free on his last six month check ups, there is always that fear that lives with us....Honey, think positive...Do what the doctors say and I promise you that you will be in my prayers...I send you my love and best wishes...Do take care...
