| Growing pink mole(?) on scalp
Hi everybody
I am 23 years old and I started to notice a small small bump in my head under my hair about 2-3 years ago. It has been growing slowly ever since and not it bothers me quite much when I scratch my head at that spot. I am starting to get worried (about time?) and made my wife take a picture of it today.
I was surprised when it was red/pink and hoped it was a pimple (even it has been there for years), but I made a search in Google and it looks like moles can be red as well.
The bump is bigger now, but it is still quite small. It hurts a bit after I scratch it as the surface (borders) are not smooth but rather hard. I have a lot of other moles on my body that are brown and smooth and don't bother me at all.
Should I be worried and go to the doctor?
