mohs surgery I am having mohs surgery on Dec 17 for basical cell carcomina. I am feeling quite scared is this normal? We caught the cancer early which is great news, but still I am trying really hard to relax not an easy task by any means. The cancer is on the right side of the nose next to the cheek. I am wondering how others dealt with this? I am trying not to be a baby about this, but I can't help feeling a bit freaked out I hope this is normal. Any advice on how to be ready for the surgery will be helpful. |
Re: mohs surgery I have had several Moh's procedures on my face. Most of the time they numb you up, and get it in one swipe. You will probably have a scar which will heal, and it will be a little wollen, which will go away in no time. that is usually what happens. It's not a lot of fun, but it's no so bad, really. |
