Right, so I've just turned 17 last month and I have a mole on the back of my head, it was roughly the radius of a pea or maybe a little larger. I've just noticed that it has swollen up, and sticking out. It feels quite solid, and it doesn't really hurt at all even when I touch it. (If I had to describe what it felt like when I touch it, its like when you touch a squeezed spot and I can feel the feeling travel into the head for about a second)
My mothers going to book a doctors appointment, but I'd like to ask what it is on here first...could this possibly be cancerous? if not what is it? I've been sitting here for the past hour, worrying myself that it could be cancer!
This is the best picture I could get of it: http://gyazo.com/090e18bcb49cd89d2a1dc5ef06b52e8a
It's difficult not to worry, but people have moles all over the place, and there are just that moles. Kind of gross, but nothing more. Go to the doctor and find out.

Thanks, I'm one of the people that only thinks of the negative outcomes. Got a doctors appointment tomorrow, I was thinking though it may be a bite or something? Because it was REALLY big when I found it, but its gone down at least half its size or maybe a little less than a half!

Yes, that can be what a cyst feels like. Especially in your scalp area, where you might be unintentionally hurting the area when you brush your hair, you can feel a slight pain.
Let us know what the doctor says tomorrow, okay?
