MOHS Surgery Question
I had the surgery yesterday, and I have a few questions to ask. The cancer was 2 centimeters, and I have 20 stitches. The cancer was between the nose and cheek but I need to know how or where to place the bandage. I did a some what ok job with it, but how do I put it on for real. The surgical site is itchy and I did put Hydrogen Proxide on it, but I have noticed that the vasaline makes me itch, how does one combat that?

I had the prodisc surgery at level L4-5 on October 9,2003. I have L3-4 and L5S1 starting to go bad... but will look into that in the future. Epideral blocks are helping.

did your dctor tell you take off the bandage? did he or she tell you to use hydrogen peroxide? I would do exactly what they say. Usually Neosporin is recommended and vaseline ot keep the wound moist. If it dries out you have a better chance of having a scar.
