Unhappy very worried could be testicle cancer?

Hi,
I'm 15 and I am very active. A few months ago I was having dull pains in my left testicle. I just shrugged it off thinking nothing of it. A few nights ago the pain came back so checked my testicles and there feels there is something there. It seems like an extra flap of skin attached to my testicle. I checked the other testicle and it was on that testicle too but it wasn't as hard or as oval shaped as it was on my other testicle. I am very worried that this is testicle cancer and the pain is the only sympom that I've been having but that too seldom happens. There seems to be SOMETHING there but I can not identify it. It seems like the flap of skin is swollen and hard. I ejaculate and urinate the same way and no pain there. Please help me I am very worried and if this is viewed as testicle cancer then i should see my doctor as soon as possible but before that I must know what this is. Thank you for your time.

Actually it doesn't feel like a flap of skin, it is ver hard to describe what it feels like. The closest I could get to the feeling of it is the feel of the ear lobe. It kind of feels like that.

Re: very worried could be testicle cancer?

Veins in the testicles can become enlarged due to a poor valve, this is very common especially on the left testicle. You say you are very active, soreness may be a different but related problem caused by the testicles bouncing into each other over and over from lots of physical activity. The left one, again, is most often sore because it tends to hang lower in many males and thus bounces more.. try wearing a jock strap during sports, or at least briefs instead of boxers when you are doing prolonged activity. Wearing these has also been known to reduce vein swelling. I'm not sure what the oval is you're talking about, whether it's a vein or what, you can see a doctor to be safe but try wearing what I suggested to see if that relieves soreness.

Re: very worried could be testicle cancer?

im 19 and can help u out here.... a year ago i felt something on my left testicle and went to the doctor... its an embarassing experience... the doctor checked my testicle while the med student watched.... he didnt feel anything but sent me for a sonogram to be sure...this is much more EMBARRASING .... u go into this room and this guy rubs gel on both testes while u hold your knees to your chest.... you can actually see your testicle on the screen... its a real ****** expereince but it did clear my mind.. it was just a cyst.... still thats not as bad as girls and the gynacologist i hear, so u should go to the doc u got nuthin to loose especially since i think the most common ages for the cancer are between the ages of 16-32
