| Testicular Self exam: should I be concerned?
After attending Relay for Life on my campus last night (I go to Virginia Tech), I decided to give my self a testicular cancer exam. However, when I gave myself the exam, I noticed a small and weird feeling vein-type cluster that was NOT on my testicle; It was actually part of the other veins that lead up from my right testicle. and ever since finding this, I can't stop worrying about it!
I went to the Cancer research website on testicular cancer and read on how there are vessels and other things that are in your scrotum that you should not confuse with cancer. So please be understand my ignorance on the issue, but can you get testicular cancer that is not actually on the testicle?
Thanks in advance for all the help. last night was inspiring and I really have great admiration and respect for all cancer survivors.
