| Hurts to Swallow
A couple of weeks ago I had to rigorously clear my throat to dislodge some gloopy mucus (it worked). However the next day the right side of my throat mid way down was tender when I swallowed but not too bothersome. It sub-sided after a couple of days when the soreness shifted to the other side, same position but this time the pain is stronger and is not subsiding, at its worst when swallowing food. I have poked and prodded all around my neck and feel no lumps or bumps, no aches or pains except for a slight earache when swallowing my food. Nothing inside my mouth either (that I can see).
Could it be just something of an inflamed nature or does it sound like I disturbed something more sinister? Can anyone relate?
