Hi, my father also has throat cancer and is getting chemotherap. His cancer has spread to his spine now, so the Chemo is really just to ease his suffering in the time he's got left. Like radiotherapy, chemotherapy has some unpleasant side effects too. Vomitting is quite a common one, as is an inability to swallow. I hope your dad isn't suffering too much.
