| Question about delays in treatment
Hi everyone,
So, while I haven't been officially diagnosed I have been feeling a growing lump in the back of my throat and gathering the courage to make an appointment. It's ok because I've been a smoker for 25 years and of course I made the decision and I have to deal with the consequences. I'm going follow the doctor's advice.
My question relates to speed of treatment - I am told surgery operations, for this type of thing (whether it be cancer or polyps), take 2-3 months to schedule. If this could mean the difference between life and death, please let me know. Is it ok to wait so long?
