Can't swallow much food for 6 weeks
I've been having these symptoms, and they've only gotten worse over the last 6 weeks.
Throat pain on both sides
Light headed frequently
Always feels like there's a lump in my throat
Difficulty swallowing any type of food, especially solids.
Lost 35lbs in 5 weeks
difficulty breathing off and on, but recently it's been getting worse, even when active.
Feeling like i'm choking every time i try to swallow
I am overweight, and have had acid reflux for 4 years, but before this happened to my throat, i didn't throw up for months. And i've never had these symptoms ever before.... Thyroid cancer does run in my family too, i found out this month.
I saw a doctor 6 weeks ago, and they numbed up my throat, but it didn't help, so they referred me to an ENT Specialist, of which i have yet to hear from for an appointment. I'm worried more and more as time progresses because of my inability to swallow much of anything. I'm relying on blended food now, and can only eat 1 to 2 bites of any solids, if that. I saw another doctor, through my Veteran's Hospital last week, and he too referred me to a ENT Specialist...but I still have to wait for them to call me to setup an appointment!!! My thyroid tests were normal by the way, and no fever! I think i did spit up a little blood this week, first time i've done that since these symptoms happened...All my other symptoms though are always present, day and night. It's not allergy related, or acid reflux...i've taken lots of benadryl, lots of anti-reflux medication and nothing helps. I've had allergies before, and it's nothing like this....
