Link b/t RAI for thyroid cancer & breast cancer?

Hi there, I’m a 37-year old female and after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer and having my thyroid removed, I was given a Radioactive Iodine (RAI) pill in September.

Since then, I’ve been having slight pain under my armpits across from my breasts. The left side feels more tender than the right (it may be that I’m touching too much as well).

In any case, I have since learned (from the internet mind you) that there is supposedly a connection between RAI treatment and breast cancer although my doctor says there is no evidence of it.

Has anyone here been treated for thyroid cancer? Are there blood tests or other tests I should requests? I’d really be surprised if I’ve developed cancer in a two-month period after the RAI, but if so, I’d like to receive treatment ASAP.

Thank you in advance.
