Today I feel great! Low energy from just having surgery but i feel great!
My QUESTION: I keep reading horror stories of peoples medication not working!
After RAI will I ever feel like I did before surgery?
How long does it usually take to start feeling better and get the meds dosed correctly?
Thank you so much for your time!

It will take about 4-6 weeks after RAI for the effects of the levothyroxine to kick in completely. My endo had me on a half dose for the first 2 weeks, which I found out later was the wrong way of doing it. Hopefully you are on the right dose. I feel great---even better than before, because of being kept slightly hyper! Hope this helps!

Take it one day at a time. I just had a TT on Jan 27th. Now I have a cold. I have imagined all sorts of things, and when it comes down to it, I just have to deal with whatever comes. Feel like total crap right now, and anything will be better than this.
