I have had hypo thy. since 2002. I as of now do not have cancer I am aware of but. Last scan showed a small new growth on my left thyroid gland in november. They both are full of nodules normal for me. Had a byopsy fna of the nodules in 2006 told Hashi. Now the growth I feel little discomfort on that side and some hearing loss.the scan was in november. and next scan in may. he bumped it from yearly to every 6 months. I wory but a little. I am a 39 year old man and my gp told me cancer survival for men was much lower then women. Should I wory more or just do what my endo. says? should I just get it yanked? and avoid cancer but what other issues will that bring? with people all around me getting cancer lately it got me thinkin?
