Thumbs down 6 days post op

I am brand new to the world of online chat boards and support systems, so please forgive me if I make mistakes. I found out on 3/31 that I have papillary thyroid cancer. I am now 6 days post op and still feeling pretty crummy. I feel jittery, shaky, jumpy, and irritable under my skin. My husband tells me I look perfectly normal on the outside, but I feel like a complete mess on the inside. I am also having trouble reading and concentrating. Is this normal as my body adjusts to synthroid? Also, is heavy menstrual bleeding normal after this surgery? Thank you for your help!

I am no Doctor, but it sounds like a Calcium deficiency. Sometimes a gland is nicked that causes it. You should have your levels checked.
