| 2" Lump in Daughter's Neck
I am a very worried mom - my 20 year old daughter had a lump come up in her neck right above her left collar bone - in three weeks it has grown to a 2 inch oval. It is fixed to something in the neck and soft but firm. We went to the family doctor first and she had bloodwork done - a thyroid panel of which everything came back normal. She had an ultrasound done on Friday and we have another appointment for her on Tuesday for results. The doctor said it wasn't a nodule or a goiter. I am very concerned and worried that it might be cancer. I've been reading different posts on her which makes me even more concerned. We are just very anxious and would like to have an answer yesterday. Any thoughts on what might be going on?
