Unhappy Waiting Game is so Draining

Im just so frustrated and exhausted (mentally and physically) at this point. From start until now, it's been almost two months, and I still don't have a diagnosis. I knew two and half weeks ago that I needed an FNA done, but first had to wait a week and a half to see the ENT. Now, the ENT's office has taken almost a week to schedule the FNA (which I still don't have a date for). There's just no sense of urgency, which I understand it doesn't necessarily need to be, but the anxiety of not knowing is draining me. Just needed to vent, so thanks for reading this.

Re: Waiting Game is so Draining

I've been there, I found my nodule years ago, in october, and then I finally got my fna, and then results that new years eve afterward.

Mine fna was cancer, but most are inconclusive, and most nodules are benign. If it were thyroid cancer it's slow growing, so you don't have to worry. It's important to distract yourself and keep busy with life, and enjoy it! This isn't anything deadly or anything, just a reminder to enjoy each day.
