| | 25 Y/O Male, 2 Benign Thyroid Nodules, Thyroglobulin (Tg) 560+
Was recently seen for some voice difficulty and subsequent vocal cord surgery. I don't overuse my voice, but a slow onset of hoarseness set in over 1.5 years time, bilateral hemorrhages were found on each vocal cord.
Two 30mm nodules were found on my Thyroid gland. Both were FNA tested and found to be benign.
My Thyroglobulin level was 416 ng/mL. Thinking it may have been a fluke, we tested again a few weeks post. The next set of blood work came back as 560 ng/mL. All other Thyroid blood work was found to be in normal limits. I'm not sure what this means, if anything at all. All I know is I haven't felt myself in 8-months.
I am set to see an endocrinologist, however wait times are long. I realize this is likely nothing to be concerned about, but I was interested to see if anyone had any insight or experienced anything similar.
