Hi guys, thanks for having a look at my post.
Basically I'm a 22 year old, active female, who for the past 3 weeks or so have been experiencing a pressure like sensation on the left hand side of my neck. It's not always evident but I do believe it's always there, I can feel it most when I'm sitting at my desk (which is 9-5 Mon-Fri) and when I'm sitting in the car etc. It resides when I'm relaxing in bed however. At first I thought it may have just been muscle tension, but on attending my GP she said that my muscles where loose (no tension) and that a few glands were slightly swollen but not by much - she didn't seem to concerned. Although to touch I can't pick out any "swollen glands" - ie. i don't feel any enlarged bumps or lumps, and the left hand side of my neck pretty much mirrors the feel of the right hand side? Obviously I've googled my symptoms and scarred myself half to death with the readings on lymphoma etc. But in fairness I haven't experienced any other symtoms (no weight loss, fever, night sweats etc) my glands don't even feel that enlarged - it's just a feeling of pressure that makes me think somethings up. I got blood work done and it all came back clear, "normal, no action". I was treated for acid reflux back in June? But I don't know if that would have anything to do with it.
Any ideas what could be causing this pressure? thanks guys
