I had a TT a month and a half ago. Before my surgery, my thyroid levels were fine and I was thin. I've already gone through respiratory distress due to the surgery. I thought it was the steroids that made my stomach enlarge. Now, the steroids are out of my system, but my stomach is still distended. I came home fitting into a size 4. Now, I can't even fit into a size 8. I'm very tired and so depressed. I've been increased from 88 mcg to 100 mcg of synthroid within the past week. Is there any hope?
