| | New!!! US and blood test results. Cancer?
Hi, I'm new. I was told I have suspected Hashi's recently. I just had an FNA on 6/21 and the results haven't come back yet. The waiting is driving me up a wall. I don't know what to expect.
I do feel like something is wrong. Did any of you with confirmed thyroid cancer have that feeling?
I would greatly appreciate if anyone would let me know your opinions and experience. Should I just be done with all of this and have my thyroid out already just to be safe?
Here are my lab results from the blood tests and US:
TSH, SENSITIVE 1.118 range 0.300 - 5.00 uIU/ml
T4, FREE 1.2 range 0.8 - 2.2 ng/dl
T3, FREE 4.0 range 2.8 - 5.2 pg/ml
THYROPEROXIDASE AB 200 range 0 - 8 IU/ml
THYROGLOBULIN 7.9 range 0 - 35 ng/ml
THYROGLOBULIN AB 1 range 0 - 3 IU/ml
VITAMIN D, 25-OH, TOT 36.3 range 30 - 80 ng/mL
INDICATION: Nontoxic thyroid nodule.
FINDINGS: Right lobe measures 5.2 x 1.8 x 1.8 cm in diameter. Left lobe measures 5.3 x 1.8 x 1.3 cm in diameter. The parenchyma is heterogeneous throughout both lobes. Multiple small nodules are seen, largest at the junction of the isthmus and right lobe measuring 0.5 x 0.8 x 1.8 cm in
diameter. This appears partially cystic as do many of the other nodules. Largest in the left lobe measures 0.5 x 0.7 x 1 cm in diameter.
Heterogeneous parenchyma with multiple small nodules.
