| Can you ever lose weight?
I had papillary carcinoma and total thyroidectomy about 4 years ago. At the time of my surgery I had gained 50 pounds from my normal weight.
Well cut to 4 years later, I assumed the extra weight would kind of melt off when I was on the right dose of Levoxyl. I've always eaten healthily and still do. But I have managed to lose zero pounds. It's so so so frustrating. I rarely have the energy to exercise, but I follow online diet plans.
Are there any weight loss success stories after total thyroidectomy? To put this in perspective, I am 5'4" and 190 pounds. So that is significantly overweight. At this heavy a weight, it should be easy to see results.
