Please go to RateMds.com
then click Arkansas and click specialty (obstectrics and gynocology).
there is a big list and the opinions of the PATIENTS experience with
these doctors. And of course their address. Then you might want
to check the doctor's credentials. If you are not strapped for funds, I
would invest in sending all my lab, xrays and results to either Anderson
in Texas or Sloan Kettering Memorial in New York for their opinion and
the way their team would treat you. My partner uses Sloan and it's
absolutely the best...but so is Anderson and Johns Hopkins in Maryland.
Good luck, whatever you decide.

Re: Looking for a good Gyne Oncologist Arkansas

Thank you so much.....My margins were positive and I am not sure about how good this Path is here. So I am picking my slides up today. I am from So California and called my OBGYN out there who is very good. He told me I need to see a GyneOnc asap..... I will look at that site and thanks so much for the other information. I will keep you posted. I appreciate you so much.
The Thyroid board has been my life line the last 3 years.....I knew someone here would be in the know........thanks....Oleander

Re: Looking for a good Gyne Oncologist Arkansas

I've learned one lesson. Your outcome often is related to how you start
treatment....you really need the best. I'm talking from experience. Even
though we have some of the best hospitals in the city my partner was
misdiagnosed at one of these and lost precious time and the surgery was
totally messed up....thank God we went to Sloan. They give evaluations
for people who live out of town...look at their website...Sloan Kettering
Memorial Hospital you'll see what I mean. But no matter what, my
thoughts are with you and I would like to hear how you made out.
Good luck.

I will look at their Website Pronto.. I agree with you. So far my follow up has already been a joke....so I have had to be my own advocate. I appreciate you so much. I will let you know what happens.... Oleander
