Hi- I had an endometrial biopsy last week. I am post menopausal and have been having some light bleeding. My doctor sent me for a pelvic ultrasound which came back normal and then I had an endometrial biopsy (which by the way hurt like crazy - but just for a short time) last week. I am waiting for the results and I'm going crazy. I have probably read everything imaginable on every web site out there. I know I shouldn't do that because the more I read the more nervous I am. Please help me out - I'm really a wreck!

light bleeds post EMB is NORMAL as is the pain during it. your uterus is being sounded (opened via the cervical os and the sampling needs to be good and come thru there. dont freak. it is one of the new things overtested but if you have reason for testing then fine. if no abnormal paps and rare blieeding could be normal.i hope u r fine and i bet you will be. resume F.U.N.when doc sez OK. trust your doc or get a new one. all the best. they should have told you all about this. advil first helps.

i was in the same boat as u and had read everything i could have read!!!!! got my reults today, no cancer or pre , just fibroids and thinkend lining,,,,,i do have severe anemia so will now be getting all this sorted, i was so worried but it can and oten does turn out ok,,,,,hope all is well with you my love xxxxxxxxxxxxx
