Re: enduilmentrial hyperplasia complex without typia

I haven't used the coil, but I was diagnosed with Complex Hyperplasia with Atypia back in Spetember. I had a D&C and from that my doctor concluded that I have Stage I Uterine Cancer. I was referred to a gyneoncologist and am taking Megace 40 mg twice a day. It was recomended that I have a total hysterectomy, but I have no children and want one. I also had the Merana put in, not as birth control, but as a means of extra progesterone.

Re: enduilmentrial hyperplasia complex without typia

Actually I guess the merana and the coil is the same. I have just never heard it referred to as that. The merana hurt like crazy when it was inserted. I had some pretty heavy cramping on and off, but I toughed it out. I have had it for a month now and it is ok, I guess. Here in the U.S. there are a lot of law suits regarding it, but the chances of those things happening (i.e. uterine tear, infection) are very minimal according to studies and to my doctor. Hope this helps!
