| Esophagus/Trachea Stent
Hi...I'm new to the boards and was wondering if anyone had any info on stents placed in the trachea and esophagus. My grandmother recently had a metal stent placed in both her esophagus AND trachea. She's been having a lot of trouble swallowing, eating, drinking, and sleeping. She wakes up with coughing fits. We're thinking this is probably a normal thing considering the circumstances, but we're not sure. Anyone who knows about it or has had any sort of experience, if you could reply it would be greatly appreicated.
