Is that Walter?
My suggestion would be to hire someone to babysit, even while your wife is still in the house, so that she can spend some time with you. Also, you may want to have a home health aid come in to at least help with some of your care.
Have you considered contacting a hospice association? They usually don't come in unless life expectancy is not great, but sometimes your doctor can fudge that a bit, and I do know people who had hospice care and then recovered. The good thing about hospice is you can have in-home hospice, and they provide a LOT of support...home health aid, respite caregiving so you wife could get out for a while, etc.
It's such a shame that you have to be worrying about all this, but I know it's because you're a good person and want to do the best for your wife. You may also want to talk honestly with your oncologist and ask him/her if they can steer you towards any kind of assistance/support services.
