Guess I had better start with the basics
I am a 40 yr old male in the UK, now single with no kids
for a few years I have had a few fatty lumps mainly in my arms chest and back.. a couple were irritating and got excised
over the last couple months (3-4 months) 2 have appeared in my midrif.. these have grown to about 4 inch long x 2 inch wide. I saw my doctor and was sent to an Oncologist, Today I had the appointment..
I had a full assesment over my body, they found lumps I never knew I had.. I have 78 verified lumps
The Oncologist says most are Lipomas and non-aggressive however at least 5 are deemed aggressive tumours
because of the extent of the lipomas the Oncologist is not willing to excise , as he says with a tendancy to produce these many surgery is unlikely to stop them
does anyone have any information on aggressive lipomas???
I feel I have been left hanging in the wind, with no advice or support just an appointment in 4 months to check the progress of the little %%&&**^^
Thank you for your time, If I have posted this in the wrong arena please point me to the correct place
Rikki

You may also want to look for further information at the following web sites. All of these are either government, university, or NIH web sites that provide info on various types of cancer. The last one is a web site that provides info on how to obtain a second opinion.
