I am 29 years of age...I have recently got these symptoms....Pain in my throat when i either swallow, cough, sneeze, or hold my breathe and try to breath out...This pain is around my glands, and sometimes above the glands just below my jaw line...It doesnt feel like its inside my throat...The pain is not always there, but only when i do those specific things...I have taken Tylenol, and it seems to take the pain away when i do those things...My left ear always seems to go kinda blocked, but i can usually unblock it by swallowing or opening my jaws all the way, and my nose is always stuffed..Only 1 side at a time, but not so stuffed that i cant breathe out of it...Anyone have any ideas to what this could be? I went to the doctor a couple times now...First time they did a swab test and it came back negative, second time i was prescribed Nasonex for the stuffed nose, and Benzydamine for my throat...I am a non smoker, and have never smoked...People have said to me that it could be so many things and to tell you the truth i am scared to hell what it might be...Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated...

Hey there, i have these same symtoms but havent informed my dr. about them yet, but mine could be possibly from my wisdom teeth that are impacted and have bothered me but i know that when i yawn it feels like i am gonna get lock jaw and also feel like theres a lump in my throught but on the outside. Also int he last year i have noticed a mass or something just on the left side of my arm pit, i had asked my orthepedic surgeon about it and they say it's because of my shoulder that i had to have surgery on and because it was there before, but.. it seems to be getting bigger and Hodgkinsons runs in my family. I have an appt this month with my regular dr., and recently i had surgery for cervical cancer, so it's been really scary here. Well let me know what is going on and if the dr.s find anything out, i will think of you!

I have also been having very simliar symptoms pain in the throat, feeling like my ears are blocked and constant stuffy noise. In addition, I also have a feeling that something is stuck in my throat. I went to a GI and had a barium swallow and that came back fine. I have not gone back but the pain in throat comes and goes but it feels like it is getting worse and sometime is accompanied by an earache. I am trying to get an appointment set up with an Ear, Nose and Throat specialist but I don't know how long that will take. I will post anything I find out.
HI, I WANTED TO RESPOND TO YOUR POST, MY HUSBAND WAS DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER OF THE TONGUE 5 MONTHS AGO AND THANKS GOD HE IS THROUGH WITH TREATMENT AND ON THE ROAD TO RECOVERY. I THOUGHT I WOULD TELL YOU HIS SYMPTOMS. NEVER DID HE HAVE ANY PAIN, HE HAD A SWOLLEN GLAND THAT APPEARED AND THATS IT, THANK GOODNESS HE WENT TO AN ENT BECAUSE IT WAS A VERY AGGRESSIVE CANCER
AND WITHOUT QUICK TREATMENT THE OUTCOME WOULD HAVE BEEN
