Right. The hair loss is caused by chemotherapy drugs that are used to treat the cancer. Some chemotherapies cause hair loss and some don't.
And, Yes...you do lose the hair everywhere, including eyelashes, eyebrows and pubic hair. But it grows back when the drugs are stopped.
Also, sometimes the hair loss isn't complete; your hair just becomes thinner.
The good news is, you don't have to shave while you're on chemo! (Every cloud has a silver lining???)
