Should I be concerned - Cancer Message Board

I have had swollen lymph node for 9 months, it is painless. Had Ultrasound, right side of thryoid is enlarged (same side as node). I went back to DR last month cos I am worried about the node, she sent me for blood test and it came back elevated WBC. I am going to gen surgeon now for biopsy. I am also having trouble breathing the last 2 weeks, I have to take in deep breathes to feel satisfied. Any idea's.

Well I haven't had the biopsy yet, have to get thyroid uptake scan and CTscan of neck. Go back in 2 weeks, he did more bloodwork and white blood cell count was back to normal so that is good news.
