My brother age 35 has a lump or mass as doctor called it on supraclavicular, which is I think, the lymph nodes just above the collar bone. He is being referred to orthopedic oncologist. In the mean time, can anybody give me any ideas as to what this might be?
The doctor has only told him it could be cancer, but probably not. Woould like to know then, what it could be. The mass is hard and not really round to feel it, although the DR. says it is like a golf ball.He has no other symptoms. Any help or ideas is greatly appreciated.

Like your MD said, it can be cancer.., or something else. There's no sure way to tell what it may be without running additional tests (e.g. ct scan,MRI,biopsy,etc)

I too have a mass on my supraclavicular area (plus other areas). I'm very worried also. I've had it for almost 3 years now.. I've never had any symptoms, but these days I'm starting to hurt alot and get tired often...

Well, I hope all goes well with your brother.
Also, please tell me how it goes, because I'm also wondering what else might cause the lump.
