Unhappy Nasopharyngeal mass

Hi,
Im a 23 yo male. Around December of 2003 I started having a problem with my left ear. It always felt like It had an immense amount of pressure in it. I was in Australia at the time, and my physician (although he was very helpful) didn't see the need for me to see a specialist. I first used antibiotics, eardrops, and so on. Eventually I just got used to it and the problem comes and goes. Since being back in the states (since last year / feb 2004) Iv'e mentioned it to my doctor who takes a look in my ear and just says its prob the eustatchian tube getting clogged. I should be fine.
I saw a surgeon a month ago for a lump in my throat. It turns out its a swollen muscle from my car accident so nothing to worry about. However, the CT scan of my neck revealed a Nasopharyngeal mass (says it could be my "adenoids" but not sure). My pcp and surgeon want me to see an ENT specialist (ear, nose, throat) now I just did a search for it on the web and im pretty sure its connected to the prob iv'e been having in my ear. Nothing really says much that i can understand about it. Just thats its a pretty serious tumor that can spread thru your cranium ! im seeing the ent next thursday (right before i get my vacation from work!) and im hoping that it turns out okay. If anyone has any advice or information regarding this type of problem please respond.
thankyou
chris

Re: Nasopharyngeal mass

Hi,

Possibly change your diet to eliminate yeast, dairy and wheat. Diet plays a huge part of disease and tumor healing (without chemo or anything else your doctor might give you). This might help your body heal itself. Problems with the ear and throat have a big relation to dairy. Cheese, milk, yogurt, etc. Eliminate that for a couple weeks. You might notice a change within a week or so. Good luck.

Re: Nasopharyngeal mass

Oh ya,

I forgot the biggie.......SUGAR. Eliminate that as well. Basically, eat as healthy as you can and see if anything changes.
