is edema particularly in face associated with any cancer.

Hi again Zoe... facial edema (or elsewhere) can happen with lymphoma. It can happen if lymphatic drainage is blocked.

Hey sorrell,

thanks. My family doc has told me he does not want to send me to any more specialists or for further tests as so far the specialists did not find anything. so i see my endo in a month and hes my last life line left really . and he seems like a good doc. but my family doc has basically said i have to live with evrything. hows your search going?

It's going nowhere at the moment. My endo is confident it's not an endocrine problem and I am starting to agree with him too. If it's not endocrine I figure that leaves cancer and autoimmune disease. And it doesn't fit with any autoimmune disease I've ever heard of.

I keep trying to figure out the facial edema too. I just had my drivers license renewed and kept staring at the new picture. I just can't get over how weird my face looks. It looks like I have mumps. Or like a chipmunk. I can't figure out what would cause that.

Hi honey,
since we spoke i have been in er twice, i had allergic drug reaction to anti depressants my doc gave me cause so unhappy cause of this. they gave me steriods to clear it up and thought that its either a connective tissue disease likw skeleroderma or possibly cancer?? But its so complictaed dont wnt to diagnose you in er. sometimes i think i just have serious infection that everyone just missed. my rash is like bleeding under the skin. I really dont care anymore.!! Lupus keeps coming up time and time again!
Ok heres a book that will help get you through get it off net by Linda Hanner coping with undiagnosed illness. i cany remember the title but put in a an amazon search.
