| Adenocarcinoma Small Intestine
My father was recently diagnosed with adenocarcinoma of the small intestine. It is in stage 3 and he underwent successful surgery to remove the tumor. They removed 4 lymph nodes and found 3 to be cancerous. The only other "factoid" I know that might be helpful is that my father said the oncologist was happy with the "margins" of the surgery (they were clear, or some such nonsense). I usually consider myself a master at finding things online, but I am at a loss. The literature online is varied and confusing and my parents are not the most unbiased sources of information. I am afraid my father is much worse than he lets on and I just wanted to know if anyone had experience or knew what to expect with this. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.
