| Lump on forearm - bruised
My friend's little girl (4 yr old) has a lump on her forearm that is now bruising around it. The only concern is that she had this last year and it went away after about 3 days - so she didn't get it checked out then.
Now she took her this morning and the pediatrician wants to send her to a ped. surgeon in the next town. He can give her no idea as to what it is or what he is even thinking at this point.
What do you suppose? Do you think they will xray or take blood work?
Would a ganglion cyst make you bruise? It's right on top of her forearm, so it's definately not a lymph node that's swollen.
Any suggestions/ideas?
