Probably nothing, Got me nervous enough to ask though - Cancer Message Board

Hello I am a 20 year old male. For along time there has been a small hardspot "Lump" in my chest. It is right under one of my nipples. Well I didn't worry about if for years but now it seems like it has gotten bigger. I noticed it again when i hit up against a counter and It hurt. Now being a 20 year old male I dont think it could be cancer. But I just wanted to ask. I am kinda thinking if it was cancer it would have cause more damage than an "Ouchy" in the last 10 years. What could this be. I am to nervious to go into the doctor because it is probably nothing. Thanks

Edit: I forgot to add that I am overweight, if that matters. Around 250 pounds, 5'11"

Do not take anything for granted. Make you an appointment to see a doctor. If it is nothing then be greatful (do not feel like a wasted visit)but if it is something then you will have given yourself a gift of early detection!
