I have had a slight gnawing/pinching sensation on my left side chest, right at the bottom floating rib just above the abdomen area. It feels like a soft tissue mass and I can feel some sort of vein or cord running from the sternum to the side of my chest on the lower 2 ribs. it is also visibly swollen compared the other side.

I also have some pinches in the backside ribs, and when I sit for a while in a certain position, my shoulder blade muscle are becomes so uncomfortable, and restless I have move.

It hasn't really gotten bigger or worse for about the two years since it started, and have no other symptoms.

I was a smoker since 17 years old, 26 years old now, had pnuemonia 5 months ago and quit smoking since then.

I had X-Rays done, and blood tests, when I was in the hospital for pnuemonia and even asked the doctor about it, but they never said anything.

I am making a appointment with my family doctor, to get Flu shots, and I'll ask him what he thinks.

I can't stop thinking about this, since I heard that someone with back pain was diagnosed with cancer.
