how people feel after a kidney removal - Cancer Message Board

I had my kidney removed six weeks ago due to the prognsis of my cancer stage 1 I have been told that I will have to have yearly check ups is this normal, as I note from other patients they go for six monthly check ups

First let me say I am sorry for the diagnosis. Although it has been caught very early and thats great news. I would suggest that for the first year I would get a check every six months. Our mail man has this and was diagnosed in 05. Clean bill so far. My father on the other hand was not so lucky. He is stage 4 and was diagnosed also in 05. He has been doing good so far. Please keep us posted.
