For my dad, the cancer was an extension of being an insulin dependent diabetic for many years. A tumor grew on the pancreas blocking flow to the bile duct. Early symptoms were indigestion, and then jaundice. I know diabetes can be hereditary, so it follows that complications can also. When in doubt, consult the doctor. However, I've been able to retreive more info from this site as anywhere. Take care.
