my urine came back and i have blood in my urine so i went and seen a urologist and under the Diagnosis it says predominantly squamous cells are present and few transitional cell are present so what does this mean?

Breezy,

Just wanted to ask you a few other questions. Are you having any back pain? Are or have you been losing any weight without trying? Are you scheduled for any further testing to come to a conclusion? I would hope that the doctor will send you for a ct-scan or pet-scan. Please let us know what you find out.

I'm not sure if you're supposed to have squamous cells in the urine. The bladder is lined with transitional cells, so it's not surprising if a few of those were to be shed.

At any rate, whenever you have unexplained blood in the urine, it should be followed up. The next step would be, I think, to see a urologist and get a cystoscopy.
