Ultrasound and pancreas nodule
I am getting very confused about my doctor's findings. I have cirrhosis of the liver and every six months I have a ultrasound done, to check my liver. The last two ultrasound spotted a 6mm nodule on the head of my pancreas. I had a MRI done and it didn't pick up anything. Then I had a CT scan and got the same results, nothing. My question is can a simple ultrasound pick up something wrong, where a MRI or CT scan can't see it? The doctor's solution is just to watch it through my ultrasounds, but I want to know if I should be taking a more active approach. If anyone has some advice I would appreciate it.
