| Help! New here...worried mom
Hello everyone. I am Bridget's Mom. I lost my name when I had her, now everyone calls me Bridget's Mom.
On Monday after bath time...it was tickle and love time. Bridget stretched out in front of me and I could see her belly. She is a very petite child and is on a high calorie and protien diet because of it. She is 8 and everything to me...obviously.
On her belly I thought I saw a bump. Maybe its just the light I thought but I had her show me her belly again. It is about the size of a quarter, it is under her right ribs it is soft, hurts to touch, but does not move. I have an appointment with her doctor to get it looked at today.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should ask? I am an MA/XMT and I am ashamed to say...when it comes to my kid...all my experience and training go right out the window...I turn into a worried wreck. I take blood everyday...stick people with needles and see and smell all sorts of nasty things everyday. My daughter gets a cut and the sight of her blood makes me want to pass out. go figure.
