| any idea what this could be?
I am 20 years old and for the past several years I've had health problem after health problem; this year has been the worst.
I've been sick most of the year with maybe a three week streak of being symptom free. I keep cold like symptoms, joint and muscle pain most of the time, lately I've been getting infection after infection from kidney stones to ear infections, all in the same week.
Recently it's become something new every week, my gums are bleeding, I've lost nearly ten pounds in the past two months and I haven't been trying to lose weight, my diet hasn't changed but I feel full.
I asked the Nurse pratcioner at my doctors about doing a CBC last week just to check and make sure my immune systom was okay, she wanted to wait until I finished my latest prescription of antibiotics and that was the plan until she started flipping through my file and changed her mind. I have an appointment with her friday. Should I be worried? the past three CBC's I've had had an elevated WBC. What could it be, what should I expect, and if my WBC has increased from the last test, whats next?
