Fluid Build Up In Neck Lymph Node.
About a month and a half ago I noticed a lump under my chin. It did not hurt so I let it go. A couple weeks later I noticed it was getting bigger and saw my primary physician. She gave me antibiotics for two weeks (although I felt fine). After the two weeks, the lump did not decrease and grew in size. She recommended me to a ENT doctor. He thought it was a cyst and told me to go get an ultrasound under my chin. The results were that a cluster of lymph nodes were swollen. He then proceeded to do a biopsy to test for lymphoma and I will be receiving the results tomorrow. I noticed that he drained the lymph node. He extracted a lot of fluid and I forgot to ask why it was the there was fluid. I am a 19 year old Female, in generally good health. I am tired but work a lot so attribute my lack of energy to that. I do not smoke, and drink only once every couple months. Any reason my lymph nodes would build up with fluid?
