Chewing on paper -> cancer

I used to chew on paper all of the time (4 years) and stopped a couple of years ago.

I havent felt right for several years, but my bloodwork is always normal.

I have now noticed a small "nodule" on my uvula. It is probably 1mm, and kind of hard.

Could all of the toxins from the paper cause cancer?
