Has anyone had Tummy flap or transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap (TRAM)?

Thursday, my wife and I met with a plastic surgeon who specializes in Tummy flap or transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap (TRAM) reconstructive surgery for women who have had lumpectomies and are having pain from the fatty necrosis resulting from the radiation therapy. Fat grafting would be an easier recovery, but does not remove the fatty necrosis. Would be interested in knowing how your results came out. Thanks

Re: Has anyone had Tummy flap or transverse rectus abdominis myocutaneous flap (TRAM)

I met someone who had it done and she looked great. It was a long recovery. A friend of mine had the fat injections. She ahd to have it done twice as some of the fat was aborbed back into the body. However, it's been 15 years and she looks great
