| symmetric multiple joint pains after chemo
I had symmetric joint pains beginning 3 months after chemo, and I am now >2 years out. It became progressively worse to the point now where my finger joints hurt upon awakening and persist throughout the day. It gets better somewhat but starts again each day. My finger joints are now tender to palpation. I also experience ache and pain in my big joints (knees, elbows, shoulders). My labs: ANA +, speckled pattern, RNP hi positive, RF negative. I did try 200 mg aleve nightly without improvement, then 300 mg nightly with slight improvement. I had acupuncture treatment for about 3 months with some regularity and it did help. I am now going through a second work up because I don't have a definitive diagnosis.
Anyone else with a similar story?
