My 17 year old son noticed a lump under his jaw area. Saw the doctor, and he ordered labs and an ultrasound. Labs came back fine, but ultrasound exam found a total of 3 lumps. Results read 1. Thyroid gland normal size. 2 Solid, hypoechoic nodule at the junction of isthmus and right lobe, maximally measuring 0.6 cm, which is nonspecific. 3 Two lymph nodes are identified in the left submandibular region at site of symptomatology, measuring 2.1x1.5x0.6cm and 2.9x220.127.116.11cm.. We are in the process of setting an appointment for a biopsy. Dr said it may be Hodgkins,. My question is, can labs be good and still have this type of cancer? The only symptom he has is not being able to sleep as well as he used to, for about a month or two now.. My first time on here!!!
