Please help with PET CT Scan results

I just got results from PET CT Scan and it says that I have increased accumulation in bone marrow -- reactive bone marrow?

What's this supposed to mean?? I'm really so much worried, please tell me what this could mean??

And they also found elevated accumulation in both salivary glands and submandibular glands.

I've been sick for over 2 years having cognitive problems (tremor, poor memory, poor focus), sickness, fatigue, chronic low grade fever, muscle pains etc). Nothing else was found until now.

This is first positive test. Do you have any ideas?

Re: Please help with PET CT Scan results

Im no expert but I have had several pet ct combined scans done in the last few months and i was told just because something shows as hot on a pet scan do not assume it is cancer inflammation and infection also shows as a hot spot .And on my scans the first scan showed my lung and lymph node as hot and they were confirmed as cancer by biopsy but also my confirmed by biopy bowl cancer did not show as hot but the second pet ct combined scan showed the bowl cancer as hot but not the lung or node cancer and i was told this does happen why who knows but dont expect the worse but be prepared for it i hope it is just infection good luck

Re: Please help with PET CT Scan results

also as a side note I too had bone and mussle aches and pains constant head aches fever and was tested and came back positive for hemachromatosis Which is a mutant gene that can be passed on by blood lines from parents to children my mother is a carrier of the gene and i have it my brother has it also but his kids are carriers of the gene ,It is a iron overload stored in the red blood cells and effects liver and many other organs but can be treated by a simple blood donation on a regular basis to reduce your iron levels but if un treated or undiagnosed can be fatal
